The Darkness is as Light to God

"If I say, 'Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,' even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you."
- Psalm 139:11-12 NIV
In this thing called life, we often find ourselves in moments of darkness—times of confusion, despair, or uncertainty. In these moments, it's easy to feel lost, as if the darkness will consume us entirely. Yet, in Psalm 139, we are reminded that even in the darkest of times, God's light shines brightly.
When we feel overwhelmed by the shadows of life, it's important to remember that God's presence is not hindered by darkness. He sees us clearly, even in the depths of our struggles. His light penetrates through the thickest darkness, guiding us and providing us with hope.
These verses clearly display both the omnipresence and omniscience of God. No matter how dark our circumstances may seem, God is always with us. There is no place we can go where His light cannot shine through. He sees us, knows us, and is always present with us, even in the midst of our darkest moments.
Are you getting this? No matter how bleak the situation may seem, we can take comfort in knowing that God is with us. His light illuminates our path, leading us through the darkness and into the brightness of His love and grace. Even in our darkest moments, we are never alone.
When we feel overwhelmed by the darkness of the world - GOD IS THERE!
When the struggles we face seem like they never end - GOD IS THERE!
When we mess up and the enemy is spewing condemnation on us - GOD IS THERE!
We can find peace in the fact that God sees us and is with us. He is our light in the darkness, guiding us through every trial and tribulation. We can trust in His presence and His love for us, knowing that He will never leave us nor forsake us.
Today, let us rest in the assurance that God's light shines brightly in our lives. As we face the challenges and uncertainties of each day, may we trust in His presence to guide us and bring us through the darkness into His marvelous light.
May we find peace in the knowledge that God is always with us, no matter how dark our circumstances may seem. Let us trust in His light to shine through the darkness and lead us to a place of hope and peace.
