He Never Forgets The Good

"For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for his name in serving the saints, as you still do."
- Hebrews 6:10 ESV
In our journey of faith, there are moments when we may feel discouraged or uncertain about the impact of our service to God and others. We may question whether our efforts are truly making a difference or if they go unnoticed. However, the Word of God assures us of His unwavering faithfulness and His recognition of our labor for His name's sake.
Hebrews 6:10 serves as a gentle reminder that our Heavenly Father is not unjust or forgetful when it comes to acknowledging our work and the love we pour into serving His people. Our service may take various forms, such as ministering to the needy, supporting fellow believers, or sharing the Gospel with others. We may encounter challenges, exhaustion, or even moments of doubt, but God's faithfulness never wavers.
The verse reminds us that God sees our efforts and appreciates them. No matter how small or insignificant our service may seem, it matters to Him. Every act of kindness, every word of encouragement, and every prayer offered in His name is recorded in His loving heart. Our Heavenly Father is never indifferent to our labor of love, and He will not overlook our faithfulness.
Moreover, this verse encourages us to remain steadfast in our service. It states, "as you still do." This phrase reminds us that God's recognition of our work is not limited to past actions alone. It is an ongoing appreciation for our continuous dedication to serving others. It is an invitation to persevere, knowing that our labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).
Let us find comfort and renewed strength in the assurance that God is faithful. He sees our service, and He honors our love for His name. Though we may not always witness the immediate impact of our efforts, our Heavenly Father faithfully works through us to bring about His purposes. We are His instruments, and as we faithfully serve His people, we participate in His divine plan.
Today, let us be encouraged to press on in our service, knowing that God is with us every step of the way. Let us find joy in the knowledge that our labor is not in vain, for our Heavenly Father sees, remembers, and rewards the work done in His name. May we continue to serve others with love, compassion, and unwavering dedication, knowing that our service is ultimately a reflection of our love for the One who first loved us. People may forget your good deeds, but God - He never does.
Today, let us thank our Father for His faithfulness and love. Thank Him for seeing and valuing the work you do in His name. May He help you to persevere in your service, even when you feel discouraged or uncertain. Ask Him to renew your strength and fill you with the joy that comes from knowing that your labor is not in vain. May your service bring glory to His name and be a reflection of His love for Him.
